Topic: Dependency Problems When Upgrade Two Packages

I finally got my computer to run Fedora 18. However there are some dependency problems with a couple of your packages (libmemcached and php-horde-imp). Here's what I get when I try to run yum: http://www.fedtrek.com/staff/omega13a/u … roblem.txt (I would post all that here but it wouldn't let me because of all the dependency stuff that contain urls...)

Re: Dependency Problems When Upgrade Two Packages

--> Processing Dependency: libmemcached.so.10 for package: opendkim-2.8.3-2.fc18.i686
--> Processing Dependency: libmemcached.so.10 for package: proftpd-1.3.4d-2.fc18.i686

Try to remove opendkim and proftpd
I can't rebuild all dependencies... and sometime this raise some issues... like this.

I will think to provide a parallel package for libmemcache... (libmemcache-last like for some others)

Laptop:  Fedora 38 + rpmfusion + remi (SCL only)
x86_64 builder: Fedora 39 + rpmfusion + remi-test
aarch64 builder: RHEL 9 with EPEL
Hosting Server: CentOS 8 Stream with EPEL, rpmfusion, remi

That could help solve problems for packages that have a lot of other packages dependant on them in the future.

Re: Dependency Problems When Upgrade Two Packages

I have forgot to tell... but since ~3 months you have libmemcached-last-libs which solves this issue.
